Architect, Professor, and Founding Partner of Archea Associati
Marco Casamonti is an Italian architect and academic, co-founder of the international architecture firm Archea Associati, established in Florence in 1988. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded globally, with offices in Italy, China, the UAE, Brazil, and Albania, employing over 200 architects. Casamonti’s work is characterized by a deep respect for context, materiality, and the integration of architecture with the environment. Notable projects include the Antinori Winery in Tuscany, the Arena Kombëtare stadium in Tirana, and the Kiss Bridge in Vietnam. Beyond practice, he is a professor of architectural design and actively contributes to architectural discourse through lectures and publications.
