
Minsuk Cho
Architect and Founder of Mass Studies
Minsuk Cho is a South Korean architect and founder of Mass Studies, a Seoul-based practice known for innovative, culturally resonant designs. After studying at Yonsei University and Columbia University, he worked internationally before founding his firm in 2003. Notable projects include the Missing Matrix, Daum Space.1, Space K Seoul Museum, Won Buddhism Wonnam Temple, Osulloc Tea Museum, and the Serpentine Pavilion 2024 Archipelagic Void. Cho co-curated the Korean Pavilion at the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale, earning the Golden Lion for Best National Participation. His work is praised for blending experimentation with strong sense of place and public engagement.
