Stefano Boeri Architects
Urban Living Pavilion
Designed as an intimate encounter between architecture and nature, this pavilion by Stefano Boeri wraps around an existing tree, transforming it into the central figure of the space. A mirrored canopy, anchored to the tree, reflects the surrounding environment and gently disappears into it, inviting visitors to sit, lie down, lean, or simply pause. With only the most essential elements—a table, seating, and shelter- the structure reimagines the basic functions of a home in open air. It embodies Boeri’s philosophy of living in close contact with nature, creating a 360° relationship between people, place, and the natural world.
