
Roueïda Ayache
Partner at Architecture Studio
Roueïda Ayache is a renowned Franco-Lebanese architect and partner at the international firm Architecturestudio since 2001. She has played a key role in major projects such as the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the Onassis Cultural Centre in Athens, and the Bahrain National Theatre. Currently serving as Vice President of AFEX (Architectes Français à l’Export), she actively promotes French architecture abroad. In recognition of her impactful career, she was recently elected to the prestigious Académie d’Architecture. Her work blends environmental awareness with cultural sensitivity, and her innovative projects, such as transforming an abandoned iron mine in Jinan, China into an underground “inverted skyscraper”, reflect a visionary approach to sustainable urban design.
