Anneke Abhelakh is an independent curator, writer, and researcher based in Zurich, Switzerland. Her work spans contemporary art, architecture, and public space, focusing on the intersections of spatial practice, cultural discourse, and civic engagement.
Abhelakh began her curatorial career at the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI), where she served as assistant curator, curator, and interim chief curator. During her tenure, she established the “”Studio for Unsolicited Architecture,”” a platform encouraging proactive architectural proposals addressing societal challenges.
