Robbie Whitehead is a British editor and ceramicist based in Barcelona, best known for his role as Editorial Director at Apartamento magazine, one of the most influential publications in contemporary interiors and cultural storytelling. Since joining Apartamento in 2013, Whitehead has shaped its editorial voice, overseeing both the magazine and its expanding publishing arm, which includes monographs, cookbooks, and thematic series. He has also spearheaded projects like the Apartamento Bookshop, a traveling pop-up that brings the magazine’s world to life across Europe. Beyond publishing, Whitehead is a self-taught ceramicist whose meditative approach to clay reflects a deep engagement with process and material. His handmade terracotta sink is featured in ROWSE’s flagship store in Madrid, a space that embodies Mediterranean minimalism and artisanal design.
