
Ondřej Chybík
Co-Founder of Chybik + Kristof Architects
Ondřej Chybík is a Czech architect and urban designer, born in 1985 in Brno. He co-founded Chybik + Kristof Architects & Urban Designers in 2010 with Michal Krištof. The practice operates internationally with offices in Brno, Prague, and Bratislava, focusing on architecture, urbanism, and landscape design. Chybík studied architecture and urban design at Brno University of Technology, Graz University of Technology, and ETH Zurich. He has worked at the Vienna-based studio PPAG and has been involved in various international projects across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Chybík’s work emphasizes the integration of local histories, environmental considerations, and community engagement. Notable projects include the Lahofer Winery and House of Wine in South Moravia, both nominated for the EU Mies van der Rohe Award 2022, and the Zvonařka Central Bus Terminal modernization in Brno. His designs often explore adaptive reuse and the layering of architectural elements to create meaningful spaces.
