Klaas De Rycke is a Belgian civil engineer-architect and Partner and Managing Director at Bollinger+Grohmann Holding AG, where he leads the firm’s Paris and Brussels offices. His work focuses on the technical and structural development of architectural projects, bringing engineering expertise into close dialogue with design ambition. Through his role at Bollinger+Grohmann, De Rycke has developed broad international experience in addressing complex structural challenges across a wide range of architectural contexts. His practice is defined by collaboration with architects, innovation in engineering solutions, and a strong understanding of how structure can support and shape spatial ideas. Alongside his professional work, he is active in architectural education. He is Senior Lecturer at the Architecture School of Versailles and Associate Professor at The Bartlett School of Architecture in London, where he contributes to the dialogue between architecture, engineering, and design research.
