Multidisciplinary Artist & Adjunct Professor
Leon Guallart is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and musician based between Barcelona and Los Angeles, known for his unique exploration of the intersection between music, cinematography, and architectural space. A graduate with honors from the ArtCenter College of Design, his work often treats physical structures as emotional landscapes, most notably in his feature-length documentary and concert tour Las Casas en Mí (The Houses in Me), which explores 40 iconic works of 20th-century architecture through his musical lens. Beyond his visual storytelling, he is an accomplished composer, having written for the Contemporary Ballet of Catalonia and collaborated with Sony Music. His practice is characterized by a “multisensory” approach to design, using sound and film to decode the atmospheric and social qualities of the built environment.
