Giuseppe Farris – Participant
Founding Partner, Studio Farris Architects
Giuseppe Farris was born in Cagliari, Italy, and earned his Master’s degree in Architecture from IUAV Venice, where he studied under influential figures like Aldo Rossi, Bernardo Secchi, and Manfredo Tafuri. In 2001, he moved to Belgium and worked with several architecture firms before founding Studio Farris Architects in Antwerp in 2008. The studio gained international recognition in 2010 with the competition-winning design for the refurbishment of the Counter Hall of the Flemish Parliament in Brussels. That success paved the way for further notable projects and, in 2015, Studio Farris received The Design Vanguard Award, in New York City, recognizing the firm as part of a new generation of talented architects.
