ANDREA CAPUTO
TechnoYurt
Drawing from nomadic shelters and ancient typologies, Andrea Caputo’s TechnoYurt merges archaeology and architecture into a tactile space for gathering. Inspired by yurts, huts, and tents across cultures from the Musgum of Cameroon to the Bedouins and Persian camps, the pavilion reinterprets timeless techniques like wrapping, layering, and weaving through a contemporary lens. Modular and expressive, the structure celebrates human ingenuity in shelter-making and invites visitors into a hybrid space where memory, material, and mobility coexist. A pavilion that feels both ancient and experimental, rooted in tradition, open to reinvention.
