Spiraling through Skanderbeg Square like a gesture of care, the Aethra Pavilion by GG-loop is a sculptural tribute to motherhood, hospitality, and human connection. Inspired by the mythic figure Aethra and shaped by biobased materials, this soft, timber installation embodies warmth and resilience. Its form invites movement and reflection—part shelter, part story, part living room in the city. Inside, architectural models and media offer glimpses into Albania’s evolving urban landscape, while the structure itself stands as a symbol of ecological consciousness and kinship. More than a pavilion, Aethra is a pulse of the festival—rooted in care, spiraling toward a shared future.
