Alexis C. Landes – Panelist
Managing Principal and Partner at SCAPE
Alexis C. Landes is the Managing Principal and Partner at SCAPE, where she serves as the strategic architect of the firm’s operations and international growth. Over the past decade, she has successfully scaled the practice from a boutique studio of 12 into a major multidisciplinary firm with 90 staff members across three offices. A landscape designer and urban planner by training, Landes acts as the Principal-in-Charge for large-scale, resilient infrastructure projects, including the Resilient Boston Harbor Vision and significant neighborhood framework plans in Detroit. Beyond her executive leadership at SCAPE, she is a prominent educator and industry advocate, currently serving as a lecturer at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and as the Vice President of Leadership for the Landscape Architecture Foundation. Her career is characterized by a unique focus on “collaborative leadership,” a model she frequently lectures on nationally to promote diversity and operational excellence within the design profession.
