
Catherine Dumont D’Ayot
Swiss Architect, Educator, and Researcher
Catherine Dumont d’Ayot is a Swiss architect, educator, and researcher specializing in architectural history, heritage, and exhibition design. She studied architecture at the University of Geneva and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Since 1995, she has been teaching and conducting research at the University of Geneva, and since 2006, she has been affiliated with ETH Zürich, where she collaborates with Studio Markus Peter in the Department of Architecture. Dumont d’Ayot is renowned for her scholarly contributions to the study of modern architecture, particularly her work on Le Corbusier. She authored Le Pavillon de Le Corbusier pour Zurich, a comprehensive analysis of Le Corbusier’s final built project, published by Lars Müller Publishers.
