Dick Vervoordt is a Belgian real estate developer and executive who plays a central role in the Axel Vervoordt Company, a family-led enterprise globally recognized for its influence on art, antiques, and interior design. As the son of the legendary designer Axel Vervoordt, Dick has specialized in the “adaptive reuse” of historical and industrial sites, most notably masterminding the transformation of the Kanaal site in Wijnegem. This 55,000-square-meter former distillery was converted under his leadership into a thriving cultural and residential community, blending contemporary art galleries with sustainable living spaces.
