Etan Kimmel is an Israeli architect, professor, and co-founder of Kimmel Eshkolot Architects, established in Tel Aviv in 1986 with Michal Kimmel Eshkolot. He graduated from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 1985 and has taught there since 2002, becoming professor in 2021. He also taught at Tel Aviv University and was a guest lecturer at TU Delft.
His practice is known for major cultural and civic projects including the Davidson Center in Jerusalem, the National Memorial Hall on Mount Herzl, and the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History in Tel Aviv. The studio has received significant recognition, including the Rechter Prize for Architecture and the RIBA International Award for Excellence.
