
Fabrizzio Barozzi
Architect and Founder of Barozzi Veiga
Fabrizio Barozzi, born in 1976, grew up in Rovereto, Italy. He studied architecture at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia and went on to complete his academic studies at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla and École d’Architecture de Paris La Villette. Fabrizio taught at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona (2007–09) and has been an associate professor at the University of Girona (2009–16) and visiting professor at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (2013–15, 2024), MIT in Cambridge (2016–18) and Cornell University in Ithaca (2020).
He has been president of many juries among which the FAD Prize in 2021, the Arquia Proxíma in 2022, and the Erich Mendelsohn Award in 2023.
