Fernando Rodríguez is a Spanish architect and co-founder of FRPO Rodríguez & Oriol Arquitectos, an internationally acclaimed architecture and urban design firm based in Madrid. He holds a PhD in Architecture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and studied at both ETSAM (Madrid) and the Technische Universität Berlin. Before founding FRPO in 2008 with Pablo Oriol, Rodríguez gained experience at renowned firms such as MVRDV and Ábalos & Herreros. FRPO is recognized for its innovative and context-sensitive designs across various sectors, including residential, cultural, and industrial projects. Notable works include the MO House, Estación San José in Toluca, and the Unolab Headquarters in Getafe. The firm’s commitment to blending architectural form with environmental considerations has earned them numerous accolades, such as the Architectural Record Design Vanguard Award and the Europe 40 Under 40 Award.
