Founder of WALK
Juan Tur Mc Glone is a senior architect, urban designer, and the founder and director of WALK, an international practice specializing in large-scale urban transformations and the innovative integration of architecture and landscape design. Formerly the co-founder of MADHOC STUDIO, his acclaimed work has earned numerous awards in international competitions and has been widely exhibited and published globally. Alongside running his own practice, Tur Mc Glone has maintained a long-standing collaboration since 2006 with the renowned Dutch firm West 8, serving as a Project Architect-Coordinator to lead the design and implementation of major urban projects in Spain and abroad. He actively balances his professional career with academia, serving as an associate professor at ETSAM in Madrid, co-directing the Advanced Urban Design Workshop at Nebrija University, and teaching sustainable development and management as an adjunct professor at IE University Madrid.
