
Klaudio Çollaku – Panelist
Director of Directory of National GIS & Geoportal
Klaudio Çollaku is a specialist in the field of geospatial information and currently serves as the Director of the National GIS and Geoportal Directorate at the State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG). He has extensive experience in the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI), the standardization and harmonization of geospatial data, the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive, and the development of national GIS systems and the National Geoportal. Throughout his career, he has managed and coordinated strategic projects at a national level in the fields of GIS systems, photogrammetry, Open Data, and the digital transformation of public administration. He is actively engaged in promoting the use of GIS technologies, Digital Twins, GeoAI, and the international standards of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) to support decision-making, territorial planning, civil protection, and sustainable development. Parallel to his institutional engagement, Klaudio contributes to teaching and professional capacity building in the field of GIS, geospatial data analysis, and intelligent systems, supporting the preparation of the next generation of specialists in Albania.
