
Marco Sardella
Architect and Co-Founder of ATENASTUDIO
Marco Sardella is an Italian architect and co-founder of ATENASTUDIO, an architecture and urban design practice based in Rome. Established in 2005 alongside Rossana Atena, the studio is renowned for its research-driven approach to architecture, urbanism, and interior design. Sardella holds a degree in architecture from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ (1999) and a Ph.D. in Architecture Technologies (2004) from the ITACA/Department of Architecture at the same university.
Prior to founding ATENASTUDIO, Sardella co-founded the architectural practice Labics in 2002, alongside M.C. Clemente and F. Isidori. His work encompasses a wide range of projects, including urban masterplans, public buildings, and residential complexes, with a particular focus on sustainable design and the integration of advanced technologies. ATENASTUDIO has been involved in several international projects and competitions, with a notable presence in Albania, where they have been commissioned for various development projects.
