
Milton Braga
Architect, Urbanist, and Co-Founder of MMBB Arquitetos
Milton Braga (b. 1963, São Paulo) is a Brazilian architect and urbanist renowned for his contributions to contemporary architecture and urban design. He co-founded MMBB Arquitetos in 1991 alongside Marta Moreira and Fernando de Mello Franco. The firm is acclaimed for its innovative public and institutional projects that address complex urban challenges, including social housing, infrastructure, and cultural facilities. Braga completed his undergraduate studies in architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP) in 1986, followed by a master’s degree in 1999 and a Ph.D. in 2006. Since 2001, he has been a professor at FAUUSP, contributing to architectural education and research. He also served as a visiting professor at the University of Florida in 2008.
