Peter French is a Senior Architect and Project Leader at Snøhetta, an internationally acclaimed architecture and design firm headquartered in Oslo, Norway. With a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch), he has been instrumental in leading complex projects that integrate architecture, landscape, and interior design. His expertise encompasses façade design, sustainability, and digital fabrication, contributing to Snøhetta’s reputation for innovative and contextually sensitive designs. At Snøhetta, French has played a pivotal role in various high-profile projects. He was part of the team responsible for the design and execution of the Opera House in Oslo, a landmark building that won the European Prize for Contemporary Architecture in 2009. Additionally, he contributed to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt, a project that blends modern architecture with cultural heritage.
