Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen (b. 1969) is a Danish artist and co-founder of SUPERFLEX, an internationally acclaimed art collective established in 1993 alongside Jakob Fenger and Bjørnstjerne Christiansen. Based in Copenhagen, SUPERFLEX is renowned for its socially engaged and conceptually driven projects that intersect art, architecture, ecology, and activism. The collective’s work frequently addresses themes such as climate change, urbanism, and interspecies coexistence, often through participatory and site-specific interventions. Notable projects include Superkilen (2011), a public park in Copenhagen that celebrates cultural diversity, and Flooded McDonald’s (2009), a film installation critiquing consumer culture and environmental neglect.
