Rudolf Schürmann is a Swiss creative director and architectural developer renowned for his visionary approach to architecture and design. He is the co-founder of Poeticwalls, a Basel-based venture that curates, develops, and sells architecturally significant properties, emphasizing the cultural and emotional narratives embedded within built environments. Schürmann’s philosophy centers on the belief that architecture profoundly influences our lives, a conviction that has guided his extensive work in discovering, restoring, and reimagining extraordinary homes. With a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and postgraduate studies in painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, Schürmann’s multidisciplinary background informs his holistic design perspective. His career spans roles as a copywriter, creative director, strategist, and managing director in international advertising agencies. He co-founded Neutral Zurich AG, a communications and identity agency that leverages architecture, art, design, and science to enhance brand engagement.
