Architect, Designer, and Founder of Sam Chermayeff Office
Sam Chermayeff is an American architect and designer based in Berlin and New York. He studied architecture at the University of Texas at Austin and the Architectural Association in London. After working with SANAA in Tokyo, he co-founded the experimental firm June14 Meyer-Grohbrügge & Chermayeff, and later established his own studio, Sam Chermayeff Office. His work spans architecture, furniture design, and curatorial projects, exploring intimacy, domesticity, and the redefinition of everyday spaces. Chermayeff is also active in teaching and has exhibited widely, blurring the boundaries between living, making, and exhibiting.
