Vladimir Djurovic (b. 1967, Beirut) is a Lebanese landscape architect of Montenegrin descent, renowned for crafting serene, minimalist landscapes that foster deep connections between people and nature. After earning a degree in horticulture from the University of Reading in 1989 and a master’s in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia in 1992, Djurovic worked with EDAW in Atlanta before returning to Lebanon to establish Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Architecture (VDLA) in 1995. Djurovic’s design philosophy centers on simplicity and authenticity, allowing natural elements to take precedence. His firm, VDLA, engages in projects that highlight the uniqueness of each environment, creating timeless landscapes through a commitment to drawing out the essence of a place.
