Markus Neuber – Participant
Founding partner of ALN | Architekturbüro Leinhäupl + Neuber GmbH
Markus Neuber is a German architect, civil engineer, and founding partner of ALN | Architekturbüro Leinhäupl + Neuber GmbH, a prominent multidisciplinary design and architecture practice based in Landshut, Germany. In 2008, he merged practices with Peter Leinhäupl and Barbara Neuber to form ALN, which has since grown into a highly collaborative, multicultural team of around 50 professionals. Neuber’s dual expertise in engineering and architecture shapes the firm’s approach to structurally complex, highly sustainable, and contextual projects. Under his leadership, the studio has completed acclaimed works such as the Carlo-Mierendorff Schule in Griesheim, a forward-looking, Passive House-standard educational campus that integrated heritage structures and won an Architecture MasterPrize—as well as a striking monolithic, Corten steel-clad mixed-use building embedded in a steep Bavarian hillside in Landshut. In addition to his active practice, Neuber engages with the international architectural community, frequently lecturing, participating in design workshops, and collaborating on academic forums across Europe.
