
Adrian Lahoud – Panelist
Professor of Architecture and Urban Design, and Project Director for the College’s work with Riyadh University of Arts (RUA).
Adrian Lahoud is an architect, educator, curator, and researcher whose work focuses on intercultural and intergenerational approaches to architecture. He is Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the Royal College of Art, where he also serves as Project Director for the College’s work with Riyadh University of Arts. His practice draws on artistic, scientific, and spatial traditions to explore how architecture can respond to cultural, environmental, and political questions. Over the past decade, he has contributed to major architectural and urban initiatives across the Arab world, supporting design excellence and architectural culture. Previously, Lahoud served as Dean of the School of Architecture and Head of Architecture at the Royal College of Art. In 2019, he curated the inaugural Sharjah Architecture Triennial, the first major international platform for architecture and urbanism in the Global South. His work has been translated into several languages and featured in leading international publications.
