
Chris Reed – Keynote Respondent
Founder of Stoss Landscape Urbanism
Beyond his practice, Reed is deeply involved in academia and research. He currently serves as a Professor in Practice of Landscape Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he also co-directs the Master of Landscape Architecture in Urban Design program. His academic contributions extend to numerous publications, including Projective Ecologies and Mise-en-Scène: The Lives and Afterlives of Urban Landscapes, which explore the evolving relationship between urban form and environmental systems. Throughout his career, Reed has worked on transformative projects across the globe, from the Detroit Future City framework to climate adaptation efforts in Abu Dhabi and China, consistently advocating for landscapes that function as productive, flexible, and socially inclusive urban frameworks.
