
Guust Selhorst – Panelist
Co-founder of Bezhe Studio and Jeshile Landscape Studio
Guust Selhorst is a Belgian landscape designer, engineer architect, and urban designer based in Tirana, Albania, with over 20 years of international experience spanning public spaces, parks, and complex urban transformations. He spent several years as a project lead with the renowned Brussels-based practice 51N4E and as a project manager at iRI SHPK, where he coordinated key urban redevelopments, most notably the award-winning transformation of Tirana’s Skanderbeg Square (awarded Best European Public Space) and The Pyramid. In 2023, he co-founded the Tirana-based design studio BEZHË alongside Samuela Hidri, focusing on local craftsmanship, artisanal knowledge, and sustainable building materials, a collaborative venture that contributed to designing the exhibition space for the Albanian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025. Alongside directing the JESHILE landscape architecture studio, Selhorst frequently contributes to the academic community as a guest speaker and lecturer across European universities, sharing his expertise on large-scale projects with high structural complexity and profound social impact.
